Lol classic video, Mcrae was one of the best agitators of his time, underated player. AS for Neely we all know hes got some much heart and skill, exspecially in the eyes of the boston faithfull. Gotta agree with "Thenewnhlsux" theres such a lack of grit and raw emotional hockey now adays, if it keeps going the way it does pretty soon were just gonna be watching figure skating with sticks and a goalie.

Basil was way underrated considering that he played in the "black and blue" Norris division for so long.

Hes right bkelley - Basil did have a "velcro like" jersery that opened up and didnt give the opponent a chance to grab anything! (It gives u a advantage in a hockey fight) BTW i liked Basil alot (good team guy, tuff as nails, would fight anyone and could play) but this helped him.. I sure miss the older NHL the "new NHL" really sucks - euros with facesheilds doing figure 8's Woopdee doo - give me tough gritty emotional hockey anyday, the old boston garden was great, the new arena is lifeless

That's the understatement of the year about the new Garden. The old garden was electric! If you haven't been there, it's impossible to explain to people what it was like. It's like Fenway. If they ever tear it down, I'm done going to games, but i'll still watch them on TV. Those places are amazing!

Yes! Vintage Basil with his velcro equipped jersey sleeves that tear open when tugged.
