thedarkener ::: Favorites You can "dual boot" where you choose which operating system to load when you turn your computer on. Choose the "Resize existing partition" while you're installing and it will save Windows. It's pretty straight forward. 07-06-23 21:42:53 __________________________________________________
nirvanaguitar ::: Favorites If i downloaded this would it get rid of all my pic and stuff on my computer or will it transfer over? 07-06-23 21:21:26 __________________________________________________
katisboy47 ::: Favorites Materialists with those iBooks and iPods ... I use an emachines top notch laptop which is 3 years old and runs better then a new iLaptop pro or however they call it. Also instead of an ipod, where you have to break your finger doing circles, i got a zentouch, where you move up and down. A logical and highly anatomical movement. 07-06-17 17:57:45 __________________________________________________
thedarkener ::: Favorites I use whatever I'm most comfortable with - I really like Apples these days, because a lot of people are getting away from Windows. I wouldn't expect everyone to jump onboard with Linux right away - plus, Apples just look slick. That's a big thing to a lot of people. 07-06-17 16:11:47 __________________________________________________
katisboy47 ::: Favorites At least you dont use apple. However with alternate and the two arrow button you dont have to take hands off keyboard to switch between applets 07-06-17 16:01:46 __________________________________________________
thedarkener ::: Favorites I've been using multiple workspaces for years - it's very convinient. I've always got my calendar, e-mail, web browser, and 3 other 'dynamic' workspaces open. ALT+1 through ALT+6 switches to each workspace. It's much easier (in my opinion, anyway) than having to take your hands off the keyboard and click on a taskbar button full of abbreviated window buttons. 07-06-17 15:48:19 __________________________________________________
katisboy47 ::: Favorites Annoying is what it is. Not spiffy at all. Why would you want 4 workspaces and 4 different desktops, when you can have it all on one desktop ? If you need 2 desktops then you need 2 screens anyways if you want to work on both without flipping the cube all the time. 07-06-17 03:30:23 __________________________________________________
nathanward ::: Favorites looks very kool.i would put it on an old computer but i would be scared of compatability issues with other programs. 07-02-27 14:21:37 __________________________________________________
n0sc0p35 ::: Favorites 1) Ubuntu Linux with Beryl 2) It's Free, google is your friend 3) Linux is remarkably good about system requirements. Google is your friend. 07-02-26 12:44:02 __________________________________________________
