MarkyM4rk ::: Favorites The leaf opens up again after a few days. The time depends on the temperature and health of the plant. The undigestable parts, the shell of the insect, remain on the leaf, where it can be dislodged by rain or wind. Often I see another victim get caught with old one still stuck to the leaf. MarkyM4rk ::: Favorites It's not good to feed the plants meat. The leaf is likely to rot! The best food is a live insect, but not too big. Of course its not that easy to get the insect to cooperate and the trap can close without a meal. Also, not good but better than meat. I leave mine to catch their lunch the natural way.
